I just realized that at this temperature it should probably start snowing with carbon dioxide.
- entropicgravity 5y agoThat might be an energy efficient way to remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Just scrape it up off the ground and stick in some high pressure place like under an ice sheet?
- zeristor 5y agoYes I’ve thought about this for ages, however there’s hardly any CO2 in the air that’s the thing a small amount causes the green house warming, but I wouldn’t have thought it’d be easy to remove that small amount out. I don’t know much about CO2 deposition, I assume that’s the opposite of sublimation. However this does happen a lot on Mars. Certainly the fact that photosynthesis can work with such low concentrations is impressive, mind you if it couldn’t work it wouldn’t.
