So can Teslas with a bundled adapter.
- clouddrover 5y agoTesla does not yet provide a CCS Type 1 Combo adapter. And adapters will always charge slower than having CCS on the car. Tesla switched to CCS in Europe a couple of years ago and the cars are better for it: https://insideevs.com/news/343728/most-tesla-superchargers-now-retrofitted-with-ccs-plugs-in-europe-video/ https://insideevs.com/news/343728/most-tesla-superchargers-n... Time for Tesla to switch to CCS in North America as well. Why not take advantage of the additional charging infrastructure? 4 days ago there were 4,683 CCS charging sites in North America. Today there are 4,707 CCS charging sites: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity_locations.html https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity_locations.html It's pointless to fight the growth charging standard that the rest of the industry has switched to. The smart move is to embrace it and benefit from it.
