- vanilla_nut 5y agoQualcomm used its modem patents and licensing terms to strongarm companies into purchasing modems and CPUs together (since buying just a modem or just a CPU ended up costing nearly as much). That kind of behavior pushes companies to find alternatives and reduces choice in the market.
