We will soon get electric Bentleys and Rolls Royce. I'm pretty sure that at that point those vehicles will be spoken about as "an object of desire". Traditional manufacturers didn't make great EVs because they couldn't make much money with them. Another thing...Porsche already has a desirable EV. Benz EQS is not that bad either.
