Arguably the biggest "hack" in Bitcoin history was the exploit of an overflow bug, allowing for the creation of 184 billion BTC: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Value_overflow_incident https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Value_overflow_incident
It is also arguable, however, that this is not part of Bitcoin's history at all. :)
