> It seems to be a weirdly forgotten subject. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to take a Physics of Music course in college that counted as the physics requirement. It was really nice to have the mysteries what makes music appealing be an academic focus for the summer. We even had a project at the end where we built an instrument. I made a fairly rudimentary xylophone with some pipes and a hand pipe cutter.
