Social media companies can censor whoever or whatever they want to. What I have a problem with is when government is indirectly influencing these decisions due to threats of regulation (e.g being lectured in a congressional hearing), direct collaboration (e.g Psaki announcing that the executive branch is directly telling FB which posts to take down), or a revolving door (e.g a former Dem operative who is now employed by FB deciding to censor the Hunter Biden story).
I am strongly in favor of social media companies voluntarily censoring hate speech. But the roundabout way that 1A is being bypassed is concerning.
