This is a good idea, but will never work. First of all the requirements wouldn't work. You would be investing in companies that would hire a ton of people only to lay them off after a project. You would have better success by finding businesses that would hire and retain people. These won't be a company that has been around 10+ years. Those companies would put this money to better use. Also it would be a crazy bet to give money to any business that has only been in business for a short time. If you're really looking to freak people out, put your presidential candidates on American Idol and see who gets the votes. Why not just make a push for a resource based economy? Not THAT would really freak out a lot of people. Good article :)
