In my case it was gitprime. This is a software to stack rank based on git commits. Since good developers supposedly make lots of small commits, if someone makes too few, they are bad. Also bug fixes are penalized as “code churn”.

First order of business is to write a program that generates a commit + well-form commit message whenever a character is typed. “Ah, benttoothpaste, I see you made 70000 commits last week! Fantastic progress, we’re very proud to have you on the team! Can you tell us a little bit about how you achieved this incredible breakthrough performance? Your bonus check is already in the mail”
