Show HN: NLU-powered virtual office overlaid on the desktop
- willymitch 5y agoCo-founder here. There are two things that make remote work tools fall flat: you can’t see what’s happening among your team unless via green/red/yellow lights on Slack/Teams, or by switching into a browser on other virtual offices. And when you do want to interact, it’s manual & painfully deliberate. Relationships thrive on nuance, context, and familiarity. We’re abstracting this all onto your desktop, allowing you to speak to teammates using only your voice, and displaying lightweight avatars on top of your other applications that emote & interact automatically from their owners' existing inputs, so you can catch what’s happening at a glance. We’ve been tinkering since pre-pandemic to bring people to life on the desktop, sustainably, so that presence is something felt not managed. We’d love to get your feedback.
- roguepandaz 5y agoThis is awesome. I think slack and other platforms take too much away from your work. A much smaller an concise tool would be very helpful :)
