I met Bill Bruford. I attended one of his lectures, and I gave him a cymbal made to act like his mid-70s bent cymbal. He was cordially dismayed. "But… it's not the one…" I meant well, though, and he asked me if I wanted him to have it. And yes, I did. So, ever the gentleman, he accepted this wrong and bad cymbal :)
