How to Interview a Programmer (2003)
- danbmil99 5y agoMy favorite programmer interview consisted of me grilling the applicant about his time playing keyboards and piano for Philip Glass. My reasoning was as follows: there's no way in hell Philip Glass would hire a keyboard player who wasn't amazing at their craft. Also, there's no way in hell someone as talented as that would decide to make a career out of something they weren't extremely good at. I hired him. He was one of those 10 x productive programmers, although he didn't work perfectly with other programmers.
