Because today on the front page on Hacker News, we find... Old game advertisements[1].
Irony notwithstanding, I hope that proves my point.
The hard drive you'd leave behind would be a treasure someone 40 years in the future.

- silicon2401 5y agoI'm aware of the value of old game ads and I have many myself, both physical and digital. But I'm talking about relative value. I would gladly leave my old Nintendo Powers behind if it meant I could take my actual games or movies with me, for example.
