MQTT/Mosquitto relays is a great solution for passing data across network boundaries when inbound is limited. I use it with Webhooks deployed to Internet VM that pass the data to broker installed on VM. Another broker in home network connects to Internet broker and relays messages to local clients. I don’t have to open any ports into my home network for webhooks to work with other services.
