The way to combat misinformation is in the free market of ideas and discourse. Not by banning it. That's just might-makes-right.
- goatlover 5y agoProblem is that combating misinformation in the free market hasn't been working so well. While I agree this is fine for most things, there are exceptions such as a pandemic or when a powerful political figure can invoke a riot.
