They're pretty cheap second hand. I recently got one for €200, including base stations (forward-compatible to a point) and "pro" audio strap. It's my first VR headset though, I understand not wanting to spend too much on something you already have a better version of. Also, the Valve Index is pretty much last (tethered) gen.
