Yeah I'm moving to Miami next week from a DC suburb and the no state income tax is not even a secondary or tertiary reason behind the decision. Reasonable crypto-asset support from the local government, the sun + plenty of fun things to do are primary drivers. The extra 400 bucks a pay period (maybe its per month, can't recall right now) is just an additional plus. I don't plan on owning real estate over the next year or two, going to rent and enjoy the sun. Really loving that I work at a company with progressive remote work policies.
