Ontarians are getting digital ID this fall: All you need to know
- ipspam 5y agoHorrible idea. Put all the data in one place for someone to steal it. Then screw the privacy concious over because they won't be able to opt out.
- version_five 5y agoThe only people asking for this are Accenture or IBM or whatever software company is trying to get a fat contract to pitch some multi-billion dollar monstrosity to a premier that sees the job as a way to enrich himself and his friends. I actually had high hopes for Ontario after they changed governments but only understood recently that Doug Ford is the worst kind of populist because he doesnt actually have any principles, he just cares about using government money for his own purposes (in the sense that an entitled CEO would do the same with his position by rewarding his friends and taking advantage of the perks) and getting elected.
