I was thinking about this the other day, and it really struck me how dehumanizing cars are. Look at road rage, I have seen some of the kindest people I know get absolutely furious at another person's driving. However, I don't think they would ever get that angry at another person if they were doing something else. They don't see a person; they see a car.
