Ask HN: What is the most frustrating in web extension development?
- detaro 5y agoSafari. Pretty much everything else you can test on any PC (macs included). And afaik only Chrome and Apple charge for publishing, and Chrome is cheaper.
- colejohnson66 5y agoChrome charges? Then how do so many scam extensions end up on there?
- detaro 5y agoPretty easy to make $5 back with an in any way effective scam extension I assume.
- dbjorge 5y agoLiving in constant fear that a Google algorithm may someday decide to ban our extension without providing a reason, advance notice, or a meaningful appeals process. It feels like there's some new horror story describing this situation at least once a week here on HN.
