Thanks for bringing this up. I had a friend once who said that Wells Fargo was the devil, but when looking around at other banks, I don't see any who aren't involved in scandals or user-hostile behavior. Which companies should we use when nearly all of them seem to be corrupt?

If you must use one, then the least worst based on your values. That may be different for everyone, but that's ok. That's democracy in action.
