Question for parents commenting on this: rather than block the apps, have you instead just blocked access to the services instead? E.g. blocking Instagram/Facebook/TikTok URLs from passing through your network? May seem silly and/or not even worth it but I'm curious about the different ways people are practically addressing this problem - control over the phone via app blocks, network blocks, taking phones away? What's working for you?
