I've been getting ~50C temps at 10-20% load using a Flirc case for the RPi 4. (21.2 C ambient in my basement; technically the RPi is in a large cupboard but I don't recall that being noticeably warmer.) After compiling a rust program on 4 cores last week for nearly an hour, I think I hit ~72C on the CPU very briefly if memory serves, but temps dropped immediately any time rustc let off the gas.
