I still have my pink (er, Salmon) colored "Team OS/2" polo from Comdex that year.
Yet another product IBM had but didn't know what to do with. For it's time it was an amazing OS - way more stable than Windows and was maybe until Windows 10.
A local BBS sysop ditched his network of individual PCs to each node of his BBS software running in a DOS shell. He had a freaking Novel network setup just to run an 8 line BBS - one computer per modem. He went to a Dialogic T1 modem card - which paid for itself in less than 6 months in reduced phone costs. And added a few more nodes since the T1 he had delivered to his house gave him room his legacy analog infrastructure just couldn't support.
Ahh, the good 'ol days :)
