The "chat with agent" option worked for me when I unsubscribed from nytimes a few months ago. They kept asking me questions and I kept responding "unsubscribe please" over and over again until they did it. It took maybe 5 minutes.
Not a good experience.
- rootusrootus 5y agoI had a similar experience. I was able to do it via chat, but the guy asked multiple questions. He LOL'd at me when I refused what must have been some kind of exception offer (I don't remember, but it was probably six months or a year for free). Right then I decided I'd never be a NYT customer again under any circumstances.
