Boys and Girls Clubs of America did this much of the Fall 2020-2021 school year while schools were remote; they created learning "pods" of 6 students to work remotely with one staff / volunteer. The idea being to limit the exposure / quarantine size, facilitate remote learning where it was otherwise unavailable.
