Surely there should be a preference to disable this behavior. I suppose there's not. There's a use case here were things are better left to the user. I hate it

Surely there should be a preference to disable this behavior. I suppose there's not. There's a use case here were things are better left to the user. I hate it when software thinks it knows more than I do and thinks it's brighter than I am. I haven't switched to Lion yet and frankly, I'm don't think I'll do soon.
