I think domain driven design is born to differentiate with database driven design. So we design at a higher level, our thought process, vocabulary is tied with business terms.
- xtracto 5y agoWe used to design systems at a higher level with UML: Use Case diagrams were meant as a design tool to talk with the product owner about the subjects and verbs of the domain. Sequence diagrams allowed us to capture any dynamics and interactions at the domain level. That was like 25 years ago.
