I'm sure there are tons of old writings buried in Rome. They just kept building on up of the old city.
- wirrbel 5y agoA while ago there were reports that they try to restore papyri-turned-charcoal from Pompeyi. The problem with books buried in Rome is, that Rome isn't exactly a desert with natural conditions to preserve books.
