I don't think this is the reason why we accept refugee... to be low-skilled low-paying workers.
We accept them because they cannot live in their home countries due to political reasons (and etc.), so we extend help for humanity reason.
- akomtu 5y agoThen we should extend help to the entire Mexico. If Mexico is good enough place to live, then migrants should stay there. If it's not good enough, because "political reasons", then we should extend our "humanity reasons" to the entire Mexico.
- ergocoder 5y agoNot that I'm in support of this. But I believe that is what a lot of people on Dems' side support: open borders and accept anyone from mexico.
