- mhh__ 5y agoI guess it could do, but electric cars are simply too expensive still. If I go on eBay, a Nissan leaf is still about double the price of a much more practical ford fiesta of a similar vintage.
- fmajid 5y agoElectric cars already have a lower total cost of ownership due to lower maintenance and fuel costs. By 2027 they are projected to be cheaper to buy than petrol cars if current trends on battery prices hold.
