I'm becoming increasingly unhappy with reflexive downvotes. There must be a reason people react like this. Maybe it's an instinct against making waves, or disturbing the image of a respected institution. I'm not happy when respected institutions are treated almost as if criticizing them would be improper. Criticism is the most counter intuitive kindness.
