Are humans extra-terrestrial? How is humans thriving not part of the 'planet thriving'?
- hktntbvuvu 5y agoBy your logic we should allow the coronavirus to thrive too.
- true_religion 5y agoI don’t your argument here is very strong. By your original logic, allowing coronavirus to thrive will be beneficial for the planet by killing off humans, thus restoring the natural equilibrium. I dunno, but if your first principle is “it’s okay for all humans everywhere to die since ______” then you will end up with some really odd inferences.
- bilbo0s 5y agoIn fairness here, the comment said: allowing THE REST of the planet to recover and thrive. Which to me meant that humans are a part of the planet, and if you cut them out the other parts of the planet do "better" by the poster's definition of "better".
