Presumably many if not most systems with PCIe5 will also have DDR5 though, so thats an odd comparison.

- rektide 5y agoyou seem under the impression i was implying flash will replace ram? im not. i was providing a baseline of similar comparison. i expect the reader can divide whatever flavor of ram they have or might someday have (say, dd45-4800) by this baseline 1866, and see oh, it'd take 2.5x drives to have flash storage that has about equal throughput to bleeding edge next gen dual channel memory.
