In almost any area with high demand, the prices are almost as high as California. The same zoning restrictions are everywhere.
- throwthere 5y agoCA's this weird place with an amazing climate and lots of high-paying jobs. You can look at a similarly booming place like Austin, and still find affordable housing within a 1 hour drive anywhere. Same with Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia... Even NYC has affordable housing within a 1 hour commute.
