The world’s most hated fast food chains aren’t surprising
- ksaj 5y agoI'm curious why Vietnam is greyed out. My Vietnamese partner says it would be McDonalds, and that seems to jive with the neighbouring countries also not liking McD. Apparently McDonalds has never been successful in Vietnam because the local preference is heavily focused on freshness, and McD is considered to be too expensive for the frozen (non-fresh) products it is offering when there is so much better food available everywhere else for less than half that price. Also in Vietnam they like freshly roasted (on site) coffees, which doesn't par with McDonalds' offerings in that department, even if they had a McCafe. Additionally, we're in Canada and I was surprised that they listed Orange Julius since it isn't a very well known fast food joint. However, I have had various food items from Orange Julius and I do not like them, so there is something there to the survey.
