Respectfully, I think you missed the point. The village is full of "idiots", but they're people who suffered serious head injuries, people who have been mercilessly exploited from birth, people who have trauma and no possible outlet other than the internet. And a lot of the rest of the village is full of people who are "alright Jack", people who think the "idiots" deserve their fate, people who need someone with a hammer to remind them of empathy. Wink.
