I guess Lotus have had some time to think about it given the Elise chassis was used for the original Tesla Roaster. I got to spend some time at the Lotus factory in Hethel when I was 16 doing work experience. Was definitely an interesting thing to see and experience. I apologise to anyone who ended up buying an Elise with a pedal box that I assembled.
