This site is an extraordinary labor of expository love! I've encountered it a couple times over the last 8 years or so. Page after page of detailed summaries, explanations, arguments, graphs, pictures, diagrams. It just keeps going. It is at least a booksworth of material, and with book-style glosses and marginalia. I wonder why it's not already published as one.
- raphlinus 5y agoThere is in fact a book in the works: https://www.handprint.com/CE/book.html https://www.handprint.com/CE/book.html I'm looking forward to it, it's likely to be one of the definitive resources on color. I believe it's important to pay attention to the artistic perspective; I think the belief that there is a "scientifically correct" approach to color problems is often a damaging form of scientism.
