- jdhn 5y agoThis isn't going to start a boom in flaring. If anything, it'll start a boom in using natgas that otherwise would be flared to mine cryptos.
- jcrben 5y agoThat's an empirical statement without supporting evidence. For natural gas wells without infrastructure, this is a great alternative. It almost certainly makes some uneconomical wells economic. And if bitcoin goes to 200k, you can bet this practice will be booming.
