A reminder that electric cars need to solve their neutral problem
- neuralRiot 5y agoNot only EVs, dual-clutch transmission too since that is basically an automated gearbox so there’s no P therefore electric parking brakes are applied when you stop, if that stops working for whatever reason you can’t move the car.

- tuatoru 5y ago> All [motorized vehicles] should have a mechanical, unpowered, easily accessible emergency way to get the drivetrain disconnected from the wheels so the car can be moved if dead. I'm boggled that this is not checked for in type-approvals.
