I hope it all comes crashing down, so that cryptocurrencies will go back to their use of transacting instead of speculating.
- javert 5y agoCryptocurrency was originally designed to be currency, not a transactional mechanism only. If you think it through, it can't work as only a transactional mechanism, because the price won't be stable. It has to first become a big asset class with a lot of liquidity, which means it has to go through a growth phase, i.e. speculation.
