FWIW, Dell replaced my mainboard on site and in a timely way, and without asking any stupid questions, especially not about whether it had been in a bag or the like... Once I convinced them that no, their crappy machine is not broken because I'm running Linux on it. I made the mistake of buying a 7390 2in1 just before the pandemic and got stuck with it. It's my favourite personal soapbox ever since. Needless to say, I won't be buying Dell again either...
