I'm guessing governments will find a way to relieve pressure to educate and invest in children at some point, starting with China's attempt to curb private education, but that's not enough. They will have to dismantle the public education industrial complex as well. After a while parents will not consider childrens education to be too much effort or too costly and they can start producing more again. Unfortunately my generation will be too old to reproduce by the time this happens
