This project is amazing to me the most exciting part is being able to use this with wasm, what plans do you have for tackling some of the issues of scale that can come with webrtc in general?
- Sean-Der 5y agoThank you! I have been focused most on vertically scaling Pion. AES-GCM[0] was a big one that landed recently. I also pushed for it in Chromium[1], it still isn't the default unfortunately. Batch UDP[2] should be happening soon as well. After that I want to generally make Pion faster[3], less allocations, locking etc... I don't have concrete plans though. If anyone has experience in this area I would love your help. I want to build it in a way that we can't regress perf wins. For scaling horizontally I have been watching LiveKit[4] and really excited about what they are doing.
