Where do you keep your sales kit for salespeople?
Any cloud storage (Google Drive or Dropbox, for example) is not very convenient, there are many different files and unstructured descriptions, and so on.
What did you choose instead?
- themodelplumber 5y agoI used to build these kits for clients in the wine industry. This was 5+ years ago but we used CMS software to design and host sales kits and tools. It worked really well, particularly because A) we wanted full editorial and graphical control and B) we ended up developing a web-based PDF designer which could customize our files with the salesperson's name and notes. Since we had full system-level access to the files it was easier to integrate. At first we started with Joomla but eventually it was too heavyweight for our use and some important plugins died, so it was migrated to TextPattern. Today I would probably use ProcessWire. This really depends on the scope of the project though. Good luck, I hope you find something you like.
