Ask HN: Are there faster but 100% compatible Raspberry Pi alternatives?
I love my Raspberry Pi 4 with its brand OS and the Noobs multi-boot set-up (switching between the full desktop, LibreELEC and Lakka) but it feels painfully slow on many websites, namely YouTube. I'd like a faster CPU still running the exactly same OS (not just Debian or anything else). Is this possible? Are there any fully compatible alternatives?

- sigjuice 5y agoA Raspberry Pi is needed to run Mathematica legally. https://www.wolfram.com/legal/agreements/wolfram-mathematica-raspberry-pi/ https://www.wolfram.com/legal/agreements/wolfram-mathematica...

- giantg2 5y agoIs it possible it's a software issue? A 1.5GHz quadcore seems decently fast if comparing to many phones.
