Haha, I think that's a great analogy. I would never stay at a Ritz Carlton and pay $1000 a night when I could stay at the motel down the road for $100. I'm not waited on hand and foot, I have to do everything myself, but its done the way I like it, and I've saved myslef $900 as well.

That’s fine and valid, but many people make enough money where slumming it for some small savings no longer makes sense.
