I think it sounds daft to think speed of light is a hard speed limit, and there is absolutely a way to "cheat". Because aliens are here, and they certainly didn't travel at the speed of light to get here. That doesnt work at all. It's way too slow. My bet is they are extracting energy from space itself, what we call vacuum and we think there is nothing there. And I also think the speed of light only applies to things in our physical universe. Frequently these alien ships blink in and out of our reality. There is much we don't understand as humans.
