As a New Yorker, that's interesting. Just curious -- do you find people in NY are also more willing to discuss what they pay in rent?
- standardUser 5y agoRent was a hot topic in SF in recent years because costs skyrocketed, so it was actually talked about a lot. I live in NY now and I haven't noticed people talking about rent as much. But I can give you a ballpark figure (if not an exact figure) of how much most of my friends here earn, even though I have never once asked!
